I am YaTonya Cody Oliver, President of the Forever Pink Foundation Incorporated, an affiliate of Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I’m an honored to lead The Forever Pink Foundation on its journey to Expand our Community Impact in 2020!
I hold two undergraduate degrees from Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology along with a MBA from the University of Phoenix. Serving others is one of my passions personally as well. I devote my spare time to volunteerism with numerous organizations like The Forever Pink Foundation, The Ties That Bind ATL Foundation, my beloved sorority and my local church; just to name a few.
As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for the last 25 years, it’s been a joy to share my time, talents and resources helping others. I’ve held numerous leadership roles as a member of Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter. I’ve served in the following roles:
- Recording Secretary (2007-2009)
- Vice President (2010)
- Leadership Development Co-Chair (2013)
- Treasurer (2014-2016)
- Chaplain (2016)
- Membership Chairman (2017-2019)
- Foundation Vice President (2014-2016)
- Foundation President (2017 – Present)
Lastly, when I am not serving our Foundation, I am the wife of Samuel Oliver Sr. We have a beautiful blended family of 4 children: Darius (25), Daeja (24), Jaden (20) and Tre’vion (19). I am a member of the First Deliverance Church of Atlanta where I serve as Sunday School Teacher to the adult class. In my leisure I enjoy working out 3days a week, travel, shopping and great concerts.
In 2020 the Forever Pink Foundation will make the expansion of our community impact a reality by increasing our presence and support of others throughout DeKalb County and the greater Atlanta area. This year, the Forever Pink Foundation celebrates 35years of service. To commemorate our 35th year as a foundation, we will help enable and advance the needs of others through additional donations, scholarships, grants and community service opportunities.
Yours in service,
YaTonya Cody – President
