My name is YaTonya Cody, President of The Forever Pink Foundation, Inc. an affiliate of Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I am a native of Atlanta, GA, the proud mother of two beautiful children (Daeja – 21 and Jaden -16). I hold two undergraduate degreesfrom Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology along with a MBA from the University of Phoenix. With more than 20 years of professional experience as a Sr. Manager and business leader in the field of Information Technology what I enjoy most about my profession is the opportunity to work with and serve the needs of people each and every day.

Serving others is also one of my greatest passion personally and for the last two decades I’ve devoted my spare time to volunteerism with numerous organization as well as my local church.

As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for the last 22 years, its been a joy and a delight to share my time and resources helping others. During my membership with the sorority, I’ve held numerous leadership positions such as Correspondence Secretary, Vice President and Treasurer just to name a few.

I’m an honored to lead The Forever Pink Foundation this year on it journey towards continuing to deliver enriching educational, cultural and community based activities here in DeKalb County. Whether you’re a student participating in our annual Cotillion, a supporting parent, a business owner, teacher or entrepreneur or a member of The Forever Pink Foundation itself, we definitely have something to offer each of you.

Our goal for the upcoming year will be to increase our presence and become more involved within the DeKalb County community. As the Forever Pink Foundation embarks upon 32years of service, we’re committed to establishing new and reviving existing partnerships with businesses, schools and local organizations. We will invest more in our students through additional scholarship and grants opportunities. And last but not least as an organization we will remain timely, transparent and operate together as one collective body in all that we do and for all that we serve.
